Betty A. Walker, 67, of St. Albans, formerly of Charleston, died Aug. 2, 1998, in Teays Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.

She was a member of St. Albans Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving: daughters, Candy Helms of Ohio, Denise Gross and Carmon Thompson, both of St. Albans; stepdaughter, Linda Anderson of Sissonville; sisters, Leona Boster of Columbus, Ohio, Helen Taylor and Nina Jean Sams, both of Chillicothe, Ohio, Ilene Merrick of Pickerington, Ohio; brother, Ernest AcKley of Pickerington; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with Pastor Harry Shaffer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery, Fisher Ridge. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
