Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at London Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Friday and until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
She was a native of Hillsdale, Mich., and daughter of the late John Boy and Ella Mae Hammell Ackley. She was a housewife and member of the Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by sister Peggy Joanne Ackley, brother Johnny Ackley and granddaughter Stacy Lynn Sheffer.
Survivors include husband Curtis Sturgill of Lewisburg, daughter Pamela Mealer of Lewisburg, sons Steven C. Sturgill of Michigan and Jeffrey D. Sturgill of Lewisburg, brothers Billy Dean Ackley of Spring Hill and Bobby J. Ackley of Michigan, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was buried on 31 May 2008 in Lone Oak Cemetery, Lewisburg, Marshall, Tennessee.⁴⁹¹
