, Ohio YOUNG Ernest H. "Ernie" Young, Jr., 47, of London,
died Thursday, August 31, 2006, 8:30 a.m. in his residence surrounded by family
and friends. Ernie's will to fight his disease will be his legacy that will last
forever. His cancer did NOT survive yet his spirit will never die. Ernie was
born August 6, 1959 in Harrisonville, Ohio a son of Ernest H. and Linda (Ebersbach)
Young Sr. He liked to bowl, watch NASCAR, but most notably, was an extremely
avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He graduated from London High School in 1977. Served
in the United States Army, he was a member of the VFW Post #5438, Vanceburg,
Kentucky, FOE Aerie #950, London. Was a former member of the VFW Post #1176,
London. He had recently been employed by Kirk Williams Sheet Metal in Grove city.
He also belonged to the Local 98, Sheet Metal Workers Union. Ernie is survived
by his wife, Pammy (Ackley) Young; daughters, Misty Rinehart, Haley Young, and
Paytan Young, all at home, Patty Tussing of Columbus, Crystal Snyder of Springfield;
sons, Christopher Young at home, Ernie Young III of Hilliard; sisters, Sherry
(Rob) Morris of West Jefferson, Freda (Gary) Harris of Harrisburg, Ohio, Tammy
(David) Bell of Kentucky; brother, Art (April) Young of London; ten grandchildren;
mother-in-law, Jan Potter of London; several nieces and nephews; many special
friends including, Roger and Debbie Wilson, Abe and Martha Cutlip, Bennie Blair,
Ray Skidmore, Bev Baker, and Lynn Shaw, Madison County Hospice Nurse, Sandy.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, sons Michael and Justin. The family
invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH AND DODDS FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. High
St., London, Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where funeral service will be held
Tuesday 11 a.m. with Reverend Russ Fairbanks and Reverend Chrissy Doggett officiating.
Interment will follow in the Paint Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions
may be made to the Madison County Hospital Foundation, Hospice program. Envelopes
will be available at the funeral home
