Betty Jean ACKLEY and Franklin Wilson BETTS were married.^1,504 Franklin Wilson BETTS (son of Dorsa Wilson BETTS and Living) was born on 18 Dec 1937 in Vinton , Ohio.¹²⁹ He died on 20 Jul 1995 in South Bloomingville, Hocking, Ohio.¹²⁹ His Obituary appeared in the¹ Franklin W. Betts, Sr., of At. 1, South Bloomingville, died Thursday July 20, 1995, at his residence.
He was born December 18,1937, in Jackson Township, Vinton County, to Dorsey W. and Helen Stringfellow Betts. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ackley Betts.
Also surviving are his mother; three daughters, Donna (James) Cordell, Ray, Ohio, Joyce (Ray) Farmer, New. Plymouth, Ohio and Lisa (Terry) Smith, Adelphi; three Sons, Franklin Jr. (Debbie), Mark (Pamela), all of McArthur and Kevin (Sharon), Ray; one brother, Donald Betts; one sister, Gladys Schroeder, both if McArthur; eight grandchildren; and 2 stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by two half sisters, Charlene McMillen and Marie Mossburg.
Mr. Betts was a forklift operator for Crownover Lumber Company in McArthur for 21 years.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at the Blower-Garrett Funeral Home in McArthur with Rev. Paul Mercer officiating. Burial will follow in McGee Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home between 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
