Mrs. Ruth E. Cain, 51, Vigo Road, formerly of East Fourth Street, died at 1:50
am. Monday in Medical Center Hospital after an extended illness.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mt. Tabor Cemetery with
the
Rev. Keith Smith of Waverly officiating. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral
Home 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
A native of Xenia, she was born Jan. 9, 1928, to George and Emmarean Breakall
Ackley.
Her husband, Owen McKinley Cain, died in 1962. Surviving are four children, Mrs.
Orie Sharon Vanderroll, Columbus, Mrs. Charles (Pamela) Lambert, Vigo Road,
Mrs. James (Nancy) Baker, 212 Park St.,and Larry McK. Cain, Clearwater, Fla.;
2 grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. David (Helen) Atwood, Darbyville, Mrs.
Dorothy Eblin and Mrs. Kenneth (Opal)Strausbaugh, both of Chillicothe, Mrs.
John (Edith) Hutchison, Huntington Pike, Mrs. Purk (Nancy) Brown, Waverly,
Mrs. Francis (Frances) McMasters, Cameron, W. Va,, and Mrs. Gary (Rosemary) VanSickle,
Columbus; and four brothers, Kenneth and Harold Ackley, Springfield, Charles
Ackley, California, and Ralph Ackley, city. She was predeceased by a daughter,
Sandra Kay Cain, and a brother
