Harry T. Bossert, Jr., 59, of 29 Eastern Ave., Frankfort, died unexpectedly at 9:52 a.m. Nov. 16, shortly after arrival at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1925, in Owensville, MD to Harry and Helen Orr Bossert. On Jan. 16, 1946, he married the former Phylis Ackley who survives.
Also surviving are his mother, of Frankfort; two sons, Thomas and Tim A. Bossert, both of Frankfort; a daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Jacalyn) Merritt, Frankfort; five ,grandchildren, Shawn, Shannon, and Lincoln Bossert, Abby Merry add Shane Hardy; two sisters, Mrs Frank(Joanne) Rechert, Frankfort, Mrs. Bob (Barb)Stafford,Dayton. He was predeceasd by a brother,Richard.
Mr. Bossert was a Mead Corporation employee and a Navy veteran of
World War II.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Fisher Funeral Home, Frankfort with the Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Bossert was a member of the Joseph Ellsworth White Post 483 American Legion, which will conduct military services at the cemetery.
