He was born June 15, 1878 in Ross County, a son of Robert C Johnson and Julia Ackley Johnson. Hi first wife Rose Johnson died in 1905 and his second wife, Olive Justice Johnson died Nov. 11, 1918.
Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ware Funeral Home and internment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Herchel T Roper will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Wednesday.






Mr. Johnson was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include three sons, Jesse of Route 8, Harold of Inkster, Mich., and Charles Jr. of Sinclair Shores, Mich., one daughter, Mrs James Geer of Columbus; a sister Cora Belle Dilley of Chillicothe; and 13 grandchildren He was buried on 23 Dec 1954 in Greenlawn Cemetery #1 , Chillicothe, Ross , Ohio.¹ He served in the military Spanish-American War.¹
