Joseph Raymond White, 81, of 113 E. North St., Waverly, died
11:25 p.m. June 17, 1989, in the Pleasant Hill Convalescent Center,
Piketon.
He was born Dec. 13, 1907 in Ross County to Andrew Jackson and Ida Mae Ackley White. He was married Dec. 31, 1932 to Hazel Eblin who died July 20, 1972.
Surviving are two brothers, Oren Clay White, Boardman, Ohio and Floyd N. White, Chillicothe.
He was a member of the McKibban Memorial Chuich of Christ in Christian Union. Mr White was a printer for 46 years for the Republican Herald in Waverly, which is now the News-Watchman. He was a clock repairman and a 1926 graduate of Waverly High School.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Botkin Funeral Home, Waverly with Rev. Mark D. Polley officiating. Burial will follow in the Givens Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and on Wednesday after 9 a.m. until time of the service.

WAVERLY Mrs. Hazel White, 67, of 113 E. North St., Waverlv, died at 4:45 am. today in Pike County Hospital following a brief illness.
Service will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Botkin Funeral Home with the Rev. R G Humble officiating. Burial will follow in Givens Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call 3-9 p.m. Friday at the Funeral home.
A native of Pike County, Mrs. White was born March 28, 1905, near Zahn's Corner to Harry and Ella Farmer Eblin.
On Dec. 31, 1932, she married Joseph White, who survives.
Also surviving are one brother, Oakley of Marion; and one sister, Mrs. Dora Pratt, of Lancaster. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Engine, who died in infancy, and a brother, Noble,
Mrs. White had been a 25 year employee of the Stifflers Department Store, Waverly. She was a member of the Waverly Church of Christ in Christian Union.
