Larry F. Ackley, 46, of 1068 England Hollow Rd., died 1:03 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 1993, in Medical Center Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 24, 1946, in Ross County, to Arthur F. and Mary Landrum Ackley. On July 10, 1980, he married the former Janet S. George who survives.
Also surviving are mother and stepfather, Mary and Russell Fisher, Londonderry; Arthur and Kaye Ackley, Chillicothe; two Sons, Ronald Lee Ackley, Virgina Beach, Va., Larry F. "JR" Ackley Jr., at home; one sister, Mrs. Darrell (Sue) Lechner, Chillicothe; a brother, Michael D. Ackley, Kingston.
Mr. Ackley was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Chillicothe Baptist Church, a Chilpaco employee, and a member of the U.P.LU., Local 988.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Ware Funeral Home, with Rev. David Dean officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at Ware's 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
