Waverly John David Ackley 50 of near Lantham,died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 4:30 pm Sunday while enroute to the office of Dr Theodore Cutright, of Bainbridge.
Mr Ackley attended church Sunday and took ill after eating dinner.
He was a native of West Virginia, born on Feb 6, 1901, the son of Silas and Seneth Hanshaw Ackley.
Surviving are his Father of near Idaho, his wife Myra, two daughters Licille and Delise Ackley at home, one son Roy Ackley, Columbus, four brothers, William and Ernest Ackley Idaho, Ralph Ackley, Spargursville and George Ackley, Columbus, two sisters Mrs Helen Carl and Mrs Lola Rock, both of Columbus.
Services will be conducted from the Morgantown Church of Christ of Christioan Union at 2 pm Wendsday with the Rev. Lloyd Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Gardner Cemetery under direction of the A H Boyer funeral home. Friends may call at the residence after 6 pm Monday.
