Mr. Samuel Ackley
Mr. Samuel Ackley, one of the oldest resident of the Frankfort community, died
at his home Tuesday at 11:40 p. m. after an illness of three years.
Born in Vinton county, Sept. 11 1868 the son of George and Malissa Oliver Ackley,
he was prominent in farm circles. He was married in 1891 to Rebecca Lott, who
died about five years ago.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs James Ackley of Bainbridge: : two sons George and
William of Frankfort: two brothers, George Ackley of East Liberty, 0.. and
Simon of Plain City; and a sister Mrs Flora Sowers, Washington C.H. in addition
to two grand- children.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Frankfort Methodist church, of which
he was a member, with the Rev. R. R. Weed, Dayton In charge. Burial in Greenlawn
cemetery will be under direction of the Fisher funeral home. Friends may call
at the funeral home until the hour of the funeral.
