She signed a will on 5 Jul 1922 in Fayette , Ohio.1 I, Anne Stookey, of the City of Washington, Fayette County, Ohio, being of full age and of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all wills by me heretofore made.

ITEM 1. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate as soon as practicable after the time of my decease.

ITEM 2. I direct that my executor, hereinafter named, sell all the property, real and personal, including household goods and clothing, which I may own or have the right to dispose of at the time of my decease, and convert the same into money.

ITEM 3. I give and bequeath to the following named persons, in money, the amounts hereinafter indicated, to-wit:- To my friend and neighbor, Mrs. John Draise, the sum of Twenty-five Dollars; to Mrs. Frank Weatherspoon, my friend and neighbor, the sum of Twenty five Dollars; to my cousin, Ben Ackley, the sum of Twenty-five Dollars; to my cousin, James Ackley, the sum of Twenty-five Dollars; to my brother, Charles Ackley, the sum of One Dollar; to my brother, Frank Ackley, the sum of One Dollar; to my sister, Sarah Sheperd, the sum of One Dollar; to my sister, Kate Ackley, the sum of One Dollar; to my mother, Jane Ackley, the sum of One Dollar; to the Fayette County Childrens Home the sum of Three Hundred Dollars, for the use and benefit of the children in said home, to be used for the purposes which may be agreed upon by the executor of this will and the trustees of said home.

ITEM 4. I set apart and bequeath to the executor of this will, who shall act as trustee of this fund, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, as a fund to be invested and re-invested, upon such terms and in such manner as to him may seem proper, and the proceeds applied to the looking after, cleaning up, placing of flowers upon, and keeping in proper condition, the grave of my uncle, William S. Fout, in the New Holland Cemetery.

ITEM 5. All the rest and residue of the estate, real and personal, of every kind and description, where so ever situate, which I may own or have the right to dispose of at the time of my decease, I give, devise and bequeath to Jay G. Williams, of Washington C. H., Ohio, absolutely and in fee simple.

ITEM 6. I make, nominate and appoint Jay G. Williams to be the executor of this, my last will and testament, with full power and authority, in order to carry into effect the provisions of this will and testament, to sell and dispose of all of my estate, for such prices and upon such terms, and in such manner, as my said executor may deem best, and to execute and deliver to the purchaser or purchasers all necessary or proper deeds arid other instruments of conveyance and transfer thereof. I direct that no inventory of my estate be made and that no bond be required of my said executor.

She died of apoplexy on 10 May 1924 in Washington Court House, Fayette , Ohio.100,303 She has Death Cert # 27737 Her Obituary appeared in the Record Herald on 10 May 1924 in Fayette , Ohio She was buried on 11 May 1924 in New Holland Cemetery, Pickaway , Ohio.100,303
