CALDWELL- Nellie B Ralph, 93, of Summit Acres Nursing Home, formerly of Sharon, died Wednesday (Oct 14, 1992) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born Feb 5, 1898 in Noble County, daughter of the late Luther and Alberta Ackley. She was a homemaker and member of Sharon Presbyterian Church.
Mrs Ralph was preceded in death by her husband, George D Ralph, on June 2, 1989. Also deceased are a son, Darwin Ralph; a brother, Dale Ackley; a sister, Lestie Ackley and two grandchildren.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs Richard (Marjorie) Sistek of Hobbs, N M; three grandchildren, Mrs James (Jean) Brown of Cumberland, Mrs Charles (Patty) Fish of Columbus, George Hayes of Hobbs, NM; 13 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and a niece.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, where services will be at 1 pm Saturday with the Rev Robert Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery.

George D Ralph, 91, of Summit Acres Nursing Home, formerly of Caldwell route 5, died Friday afternoon, June 2, 1989 at Summit Acres Nursing Home following a short illness.
Mr Ralph was retired from Hercules Motor Co., in Canton and the Ohio Highway Department. He was a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church and Sharon Lodge 136 F&AM.
He was born April 15, 1895, in Olive Green, a son of Andrew and Jane Harmon Ralph.
He had lived many years in the Sharon community and had just recently moved to his granddaughter, Mrs Jim (Jean) Brown of Cumberland before going to Summit Acres.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie B Ackley Ralph, whom he married Dec 24, 1918; one daughter, Mrs Richard (Marjorie) Sistek of Hobbs, NM; three grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, three brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren.
Friends were received at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, where services were held at 1 pm Monday. Burial is in Sharon Cemetery.

He received treatment at Good Samaritan hospital at Zanesville for some time. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Hayes, three nieces and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Ackley. His body was removed to the Wheeler funeral home
