Mrs. Ida Louise Ackley, 48, of 225 Bellaire av., died in her home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. She had been in failing health for the past several months.
A waitress at Perkins Pancake House on E. Main St. for more than 15 years. Mrs. Ackley was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was born in Crossville, Tenn., May 10,1928, a daughter of Floyd and Mary Lytle Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Harold L. Ackley; her parents of Crossville, Tenn. one daughter, Melissa Joy Ackley, at home; one stepson, James Baker of Lebanon, 0., and one stepgrandson; six sisters, Mrs. Lois Curtis of Miamisburg. Mrs. Frances Wright of Trotwood, Mrs. Shirley Houston of Crossville, Tenn.. Mrs. Dorothy Coterel. Mrs. Lee Strader and Mrs. Sue Hutchins, all of Dayton; six brothers, Fred Reed of Wilmington, Ernest Reed of Bakersfield, Calif., Sp. 5 Benny M. Reed in the U.S. Army in South Korea, Walter, William and Gordon all of Dayton and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters are deceased.
Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Services will he held there at 1: 30 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Verdean Owens. Burial will be in Clifton Cemetery.
