James E Ackley, 49 of 339 Abbington avenue, an employee of McGraw-Edison Company died at 5:40 a.m. Thursday (July 4) in Good Samaritan Hospital where he was admitted Tuesday following an apparent heart attack.
He was born March 15, 1919, at Caldwell, a son of the late Frank and Ida Shrider Ackley.
Mr. Ackley was employed on an assembly line and had worked for the company 24 years. He was a member of First Christian Church.
He is survived by his widow, the former Marie Murray; a son, Robert James of the home, and a brother, Victor Ackley of Alliance,. A sister deceased.
