I In 1935 Mr. and Mrs. Knaggs celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in
the Methodist church at Germfask. A Reverend Alvin Dolton had them repeat wedding
vows. Mr. and Mrs. Angus MacDougel of Germfask and a Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bryers
of Lakefield attended them in their weddding ceremony. A Mrs. Harry Erickson
of Manistique sang, "I Love You Truly." A Miss Ethel Killiam of Grand
Marais sang,
When I Grow Too Old to Dream." A foursome of Miss Killam, Mrs. M Reverend
Hill, Ennis Fleming and Paul Robertson all of Grand Mrais sang, "Silver
Threads Among The Gold" and "Put On Your Old Gray Bonnet." Joining
in the chorus of the last selection were the congregation of the church. I'd
say that was a mighty fine selection of songs.
The guests from out of town were Philip Knaggs and daughter Elsie Stanley Warden
of Lincoln Park, Michigan, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Tyrell of Manistique, Mr. and Mrs.
Irving Hill, Miss Ethel Killiam, Ennis Fleming and Paul Robertson all of Grand
