Morval "Pat" Ackley

Pat Ackley passed away surrounded by family, peacefully, at his home in Mountain Home, Idaho, on 5/20/97, after a month long battle with cancer. Pat was born on 11/21/23 on the family farm in Tower City, North Dakota and moved to Washington State in November 1940. He served in the Army from 1943-1946 where he earned the Good Conduct and Victory Medals. He retired in 1985 from the Lige Dickson Construction company after working in construction for 30 years. In 1994 he moved to Mountain Home, Idaho to live with his daughters, Sharon and Lori. They shared his lifelong passion for horses, and he was thrilled at being a grandfather to Katelyn Marie born 1/4/97. Services are in Mountain Home, Sat. May 24, at 3 p.m., burial will follow at the Bruneau Cemetery. Pat was a beloved father, proud grandfather, brother and uncle, we will miss him every day.
He was buried in Bruneau Cemetery, Bruneau, Owyhee, Idaho.28 Retired 1985 he was Lige Dickson Construction company at Washington.26 His Social Security Number was 536-14-0233 WA.17
