4. Nathan William ACKLEY Sr⁵ was born on 1 Jul 1831 in Morristown, Morris , New Jersey.^1,5,12 He appeared in the census in 1850 in New Jersey. In 1850 he was Laborer at Rockaway, Morris , New Jersey.¹ He died of cerebral hemorrage and shock on 11 Mar 1914 in Carroll Township, Locus Point, Oak Harbor, Ottawa , Ohio.^5,12 death certificate lists place of death as Camell, Ottowa, OH He was buried on 13 Mar 1914 in Ruschau Cemetery, Ottawa , Ohio.^5,12 He has Death Cert # 17861 He was Constable.⁵ He was a Constable in 1870, 76, 77, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, and 87. He was Justice of the Peace.⁵ He served as Justice of the Peace in 1889 - 1900, and 1908 His Obituary appeared in the DIED. Nathan Eakley was born at Morristown, N.J. July 1, 1831 and died Mar. 11, 1914, aged 82 yrs. He came to Ohio in 1856 and settled in Franklin Co. There he married Hulda Ann Winters and to this union were born 13 children 11 of whom preceded him in death. Two sons surive: Marion, of Toledo and LeRoy of Locus Point; also 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He came to Ottawa Co. in 1860 and lived at Locust Point up to the time of his death.

He is buried in Ruschau Cemetery, Ottawa , Ohio along with a few of his children and his wife.
