She died on 21 Nov 1908 in Berkley, Alameda , California.⁶ Esther was killed at the corner of Folger and San Pablo Ave when struck by an electric car. The coroner certified that her death was accidental






She was buried on 24 Nov 1908 in Mt. View Cemetery.⁶ in the 1900 census. Esther and Henry were living in Oakland Twp.,
Alameda Co., CA, caring for John B. Conklin
and his daughter Ida who was then about 5 years old. The 1900
census tells us tlat Esther had no children of her own.
