SACO-- Melba J. Ackley- Meserve, 71, of Therrien Avenue, Saco died late Friday night at her residence.
She was born in Hollis, the daughter of Chester and Eletha Harmon Meserve.
Survivors include six daughters, Deborah Walker of Ocean Springs, Miss., Roxanne Bachand of Terryville, Conn., Pamela Davis of Waterboro, Karen Palmer of Hollis, Vickey Worden of Westbrook and Jennifer Worden of Standish; her ex-husband, Sanford Field; two brothers; five sisters; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m., at the East Waterboro Free Baptist Church, Pastor Charles Storey will officiate.
