He was living in 1800 in Hamilton, Chenango , New York.²² He received a military pension on 25 May 1818 in New York²¹ Pension # MA W25340 He was living about 1818 in Norwich, Chenango, New York.²¹ He died on 1 Apr 1819 in Oxford, Chenango , New York.² He lived at in Brattleboro, Windham , Vermont.^23,24 He served in the military Revolutionary War.^13,21 Of Brattleboro, VT; resided for a time there after marriage, then disappeared
and was never heard of again.

John ACKLEY and Miriam WARD were married on 29 Oct 1781 in Suffield, Hartford, Connecticut.^{21,23,24,25,26} After her husband's disappearance she lived in Wethersfield, CT Miriam WARD (daughter of Josiah WARD and Leah WEBB) was born about 1764 in Vermont.²¹ She died in Jul 1848.²¹
