WEST SPRINGFIELD - Calvin "Cally" W. Ackley, 70, of Humphrey Lane died Sunday at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Westfield, brought up in Blanford and has lived in West Springfield most of his life. He formerly worked at The Crestroom in West Springfield for many years, and prior to that he worked as a roofer and a laborer for Demarco Home Improvements. He leaves his two children, Calvin and Anthony Ackley, his brother Edward Ackley of Chicopee, his sister Thelma Lecuyer of Westfield, and his 2 great grandchildren. He lived with and leaves his niece Paula Allen, and her husband Jackie, and their children, Kevin, Donna, Tara, and J.J. Cally was predeceased by his silblings Dora Jones, Marshal, Elmer, and Blanche Ackley. There will be a Funeral Service 6:30 p.m. Wed. at Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld. There will be calling hours Wed. from 4-6:30 p.m. Burial will be in the spring at Paucatuck Cemetery.
