She leaves five daughters, Patricia DeVore of Conneaut Lake, Pa., Charlene Billman of Uticia, Ohio, Virginia Guy of South Royalston, Debra Lewis of Winchendon and Bernadine Lewis of Gardner; a stepson, Peter Lewis of Templeton; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Shrewsbury, Vt., daughter of Ray B. and Francis M. (Ackley) Andrews, and lived 25 years in Phillipston and three years in Winchendon before moving here 12 years ago. She attended schools in Vermont.
Mrs. Lewis worked at Parady's Cleaners, Athol, and then for Chair City Taxi, Gardner. She worked the past 24 years for Stanley's Taxi, Gardner, and delivered the Telegram & Gazette for many years. She was a member of the Church of God, Winchendon.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, in Fiske Funeral Home 1356 Main St., Athol. Burial will be in Lower Cemetery, Phillipston. Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701; or to another charity.
