by his loving brother, Mark J. "Duke" Ackley who was Called Home on
July 11, 2004. Besides his parents he leaves his loving brother, Frederick D.
"Rick" Ackley, Jr. and his wife Maria of Springfield. His dear nephews,
Rich Ackley and his wife Bonnie and Scott Ackley and his companion Mindy Rivera
and his cherished grandnephew, Dylan. He also leaves many close friends in Florida,
including his best friend and partner, Tom Balz. A private service will be held
at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice

He was employed for the past 25 years by the United Industrial Textile Company
in West Springfield. He was born in Springfield on May 8, 1963, a beloved son
of Frederick D. "Ackey" Ackley, Sr. and Marcella E. "Marci"
(Jacques) Ackley, both of the Glenwood section of Springfield. He graduated from
the former Classical High School. He was a member of the Chicopee Sportsmen's
Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was extremely fond of riding his
motorcycle and enjoyed the quiet of his home where he listened to his favorite
music. Besides his beloved parents, he leaves his loving brothers, Frederick
D. "Rick" Ackley, Jr. and his wife Maria of Springfield and James C.
Ackley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. His two cherished nephews, Richard "Rich"
Ackley and his fiance Bonnie Liamis of Springfield and Scott Ackley and his companion
Mindy Rivera of Chicopee. His two dear uncles, Robert Ackley and Walter Zambelli,
both of the Feeding Hills section of Agawam. He will be sadly missed by his beloved
dog "Tara" who was his constant companion and friend. His funeral was
held July 16 at the St. Pierre Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, 7 Chapin Terrace.
His burial followed the service at Calvary Cemetery on Hampden Street in Chicopee.
