She taught school for some years in Winthrop, Mass., Wallingford, Conn, Camden, Me, and Poultney. Miss Ackley was a member of the Congregational Church and an active member in many organizations. She leaves four cousins, Dewey K. Warren of Rutland, Miss Helen B. Hughes of Syracuse, NY; Edward Paterson of Boston, Mass, and Robert A. Paterson of Great Neck, L.I. The body will be removed from the Tossing Funeral home to her residence at 33 North Main street, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 pm, the Rev Roland P Rice officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at her residence from this afternoon until the hour of the service.
