Services for Lorraine Gentry Cunyus, 87, Clifton, TX formerly of Longview, TX are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 30, at the Cottle Funeral Home Chapel, Troup TX. Burial will be in the Elkins Cemetery, in the Omen Community of Smith County TX.
Mrs. Cunyus died Sunday, August 27, in a Clifton TX hospital. She was born September 17, 1918 in Houston County, TX to the late Luke and Mamie Alice Ackley Patrick. She was a former resident of Longview TX and Houston TX. She was a housewife who enjoyed painting in oils and acrylics.

Mrs. Cunyus was preceded in death by two husbands, Fred N. Gentry and Howell H. Cunyus, and by a brother, Douglas Patrick.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jerry and Max Austin, Troup and Bobbe and Loren Griswold, Cranfills Gap; two sisters, Ella Vee Mayes, Bedias and Eileen Hooks, Houston; grandchildren, Jonee Lorraine Austin, Leanne Harrell, Amy Elizabeth Kenney, Justin K. Griswold, and Kelly Jane Griswold; great-grandchildren, Jasen T. McCommas, Bradley A. McCommas, Secily J. Harrell, Jalie L. Harrell, Molly B. Harrell, Mikaila L. Kenney, and Eric A. Griswold; and great-great grandchildren, Hanna Maree McCommas and Kara Grace McCommas.

Pallbearers will be Justin K. Griswold, Jasen T. McCommas, Bradley A. McCommas, Christopher L. Kenney, Ricky Hooks, and Kyle Kilpatrick.

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 30.
