Mrs. Becky Kirby Ackley, age 45 of Kennard, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2004 in the East Texas Medical Center-Tyler. Mrs. Ackley was born April 19, 1959 in Lufkin. Mrs. Ackley attended the Lakeside Baptist Church in Ratcliff and was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband Leslie R. Ackley, of Kennard; son Leslie W. Ackley, of Kennard; daughter Rebecca Barrett, of Grapeland; grandchildren Abigale Barrett and Travis M. Barrett; mother Mary M. Huffman, of Woodville; sisters Ruth Gray and Mary Jane Huffman; step mother-in-law Mrs. Bea Ackley, of Grapeland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Becky Kirby Ackley were held Tuesday, June 22, at 2:00 p.m. in the Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Oswald officiating. Interment followed.
