BLOOMER - Elizabeth "Bette" Gullickson, 77, died Thursday, Oct. 19,
2000, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
She was born April 28, 1923, in the Bloomer area.
Bette married Stafford Gullickson on Oct. 25, 1941, in Bloomer.
She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and Women's Fellowship. Bette
was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her happiest moments
were spent with her family.
She is survived by one son, Charles of Chippewa Falls; four daughters, Betty
Lou Johnson of Chippewa Falls, Judy (Gene) Sempf of New Richmond, Sharon (Ray)
Miles of Eleva and Linda (Kirby) Olson of Bloomer; one brother, Clarence Ackley
of Jim Falls; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank; her husband, Stafford; two brothers,
Wilmer and Elmer Ackley; and her special companion, dog, Molly.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23 at Our Savior's Lutheran
Church with the Rev. Jerry Hibbard officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomer
City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at The Olson Funeral Home, Bloomer,
and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
