Rev. Bridges was a retired minister of the Missionary Church in Michigan and
Indiana. He was born September 22, 1914 in Kokomo, IN to Guy and Jerrine Sarin
Bridges. He married Nellie Ackley on June 14, 1927 in Lincoln Park, MI. Surviving
are: wife, Nellie; daughters, Faith Knight of Goshen, IN, Phyllis Robbins of
Port Huron, MI, Joyce Swartz of Springfield, Missouri; sons, Norman of Mishawaka,
IN, Phillip of Koontz Lake, IN; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters,
Nellie May Hickerson of Hohenwald, Tennessee, Ruth Fobar of Kingston, Tennessee,
Shirley Frailey of Fountain Valley, California, Martha Douglas of Lincoln Park,
