Canton-Perley H. William., Took his own life by carbon monoxide exhaust fumes Tuesday Williams was found in a parked car with the windows closed and a garden hose running from the exhaust into the rear of the car. . He was found by Glen Todd. RD. 3, Lisbon in a shed on the Frank Campbell farm. RD 4 Lisbon. Todd is a nephew of Mrs Campbell. Mr. William was born Feb. 6 1901. the son of Leslie and Vina
Ackley Williams. He married Verda Hill of Russell and they lived in the Hermon-Russell area until they moved to Canton about 15 years ago. He had been employed on dairy farms most of his life. Surviving are his mother; three sons. Raymond of Canton, Leslie William, with the Air Force in Great Falls, Mont. And Robert, a seaman second with the Navy in Rhode Island. Two daughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Johnson of Baldwinsville, and Miss Phyllis Williams of Canton also survive.
