Anne M ACKLEY and Robert Eugene CLOSE were married on 29 Mar 1945.^26,27 Robert Eugene CLOSE (son of James Franklin CLOSE and Mary Ann ( Mammie ) ELLIOTT) was born on 13 May 1922.²⁶ He died on 11 May 2001 in Cedar Rapids, Linn , Iowa.²⁶ Living and Robert Eugene CLOSE had the following children:
