She would have celebrated her 100th birthday on March 6, 2004. Dorothy was a senior clerk with NYS Department of Audit and Control in Albany and retired in 1967. She enjoyed traveling until her health would no longer permit it. She was a life member of the Van Rensselaer Star Chapter 256 Order of the Eastern Star. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Charles W. Gray Sr. Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Dorothy and her husband Albert DuBois of Rensselaer; a son, Charles W. Gray Jr. and his wife Carolyn of San Francisco, Calif. Also survived by grandchildren, Karen A. (Joseph) Boyle of East Greenbush, Stephen Gray of Troy, Robert Gray of Phoenix, Ariz., and Richard (Joy) Gray of Richmond, Calif.; and two great-grandsons, Timothy and Kevin Boyle. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Linda M. DuBois, one sister, four brothers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday 11:00 a.m. from the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer, N.Y. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery Menands. The family would prefer those who wish to make a memorial contribution to Shriners Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104 in her memory. She appeared in the census 1910 & 1920 in New York.
