at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. David L. Parsch will officiate with
burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home,
3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be
present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Holy Spirit Catholic
Church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Prayer
Service 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression
of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Holy Spirit Catholic Church or
the American Diabetes Association
Ackley, Mrs. Rosalie L. (Rondo),

Loving mother and grandmother passed away Monday, December 4, 2000 at the home
of her daughter, Shirley, following a lengthy illness. Age 76 years. The daughter
of the late Edward C. and Margaret (Burns) Rondo, Rosalie was born December 19,
1923 in Hemlock, Michigan. She was married to Kenneth Charles Ackley on February
19, 1944. He predeceased her October 2, 1987. Rosalie was a member of Holy Spirit
Catholic Church. She loved being with her grandchildren. Surviving are four daughters
and their spouses, Shirley and Timothy Hamilton, Sandra and Dale Halm, all of
Freeland; Diana and Timothy Bogard, Saginaw; Rebecca and Robert Buxman, Hemlock;
15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Clouse, Ferndale,
Michigan; many nieces and nephews. Rosalie was preceded in death by a granddaughter,
Laura Bogard, and by five brothers and two sisters.
