Woodsfield, O.,- Mrs. Minnerva Doan, 90, widow of Dr. R. Doan, died at 10:30 o'clock last night at her home, 107 East Marietta street following an illness of four years.
She was born Aug. 13, 1862 in Noble county, a daughter of Greenberry and Jane Ackley Davis.
She was married on Feb. 5, 1881 to A. R, Doan, who died in 1925.
Mrs. Doan was a member of the Methodist church and Pythian Sisters.
Surviving are three sons, Howard of Lakemore, O., Charles of Ravena, O., and Walter Doan of Nankin, O., three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Stewart of Loudon, O., Mrs. Carrie Martin of Woodsfield and Mrs. Clarice Albert of Kilgore, Tex.; one brother, William Davis of Marietta; 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Two daughters and one son are deceased.






The body is at the Schumacher funeral home in Woodsfield and will be returned to the residence Saturday morning where friends may call after 11 a.m.
Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the residence with Rev. Charles D. Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Summerfield cemetery. She was buried on 2 Nov 1952 in Summerfield cemetery, Summerfield, Noble, Ohio.^60,61
