CALDWELL O.- Meeting for the first time in their lives, a brother and sister, 60 and 58 respectively, became acquainted here recently.
Samuel Ackley and his sister, Mrs. Alice Hubbard of Los Angles met at the home of another brother who lives here.
Samuel, when but a few months old, was taken into he home of an uncle. Two years
later his sister was born and although they lived a comparatively short distance
from each other, they never met.
When she was 19 years old, Mrs. Hubbard was adopted by a family on Minnesota. The
brother and sister began a correspondence which lasted throughout the decades and
finally brought about their first meeting.
She died on 14 Dec 1959 in Los Angeles , California.¹⁰⁹ She lived at in Los Angeles, Los Angeles , California.¹⁰²
