LITTLE CURRENT, Ont. (AP)- Samuel Ackley, 40, of 554 West Central Ave., Delaware, Ohio, collapsed at the wheel of his car Sunday and died a few minutes later.
Ackley had driven all night with his wife to reach the Tobermory ferry. The couple was booked for a week's fishing holiday at a camp on Lake Kagawong, on Manitoulin Island.
Mrs. Ackley said her husband complained of a pain in his chest as they were coming to the island on the ferry. She was able to bring the car to a stop without any damage. He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Delaware , Ohio.^3,151 He served in the military WW II in the US Army Air Corps.¹³³
