Wednesday (Aug. 18, 1999) at the family residence.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. J. Kent Hickerson, Pastor Melvin Pollard and Pastor Dale Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wapella.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Woodlawn Church of God, Clinton.
Mrs. Bray was born June 29, 1908, in Albion, a daughter of Thomas and Jersey Ackley Rodgers. She married Albert Bray on Jan. 21, 1929, in Bloomington. He died May 20, 1973.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas B. Bray, Dennis A. Bray and Harold Jackson "Jack" Bray, all of Clinton; three daughters, Wanda Marilyn Voelker, Clinton; Helen Nadene Wilson, Dewitt; and Norma Jane Brown, Bloomington; 15 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six
stepgreat-grandchildren; and eight great- great-grandchildren.
One son, one grandson, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
She was a charter member of Woodlawn Church of God, Clinton, and a member of Wilson Unit of Home Extension for over 50 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Bray farmed in the Wapella area for 40 years before moving to Arrowsmith to farm in 1972.
Mr. Bray passed away after a year, and Mrs. Bray moved and made her home in Clinton from 1973 until her death.
She was a committed Christian, praying mother and grandmother
She was buried in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wapella, De Witt, Illinois.³¹

Violet Grace RODGERS and Albert BRAY were married on 21 Jan 1929 in Bloomington, McLean , Illinois.^17,31 Albert BRAY died on 20 May 1973.³¹ Violet Grace RODGERS and Albert BRAY had the following children:
