Mrs. Dorothy Smith, 24 a resident of Winton, died yesterday at her home following a short illness. She was born in Wasco county, Oregon, May 14 1909. Surviving are the widower, William H Smith and three children, Sylvia, Raymond and Harold. She also leaves her parents Mr and Mrs Dow Ackley, and a sister, Mrs Clark, of Friend, Oregon, and two brothers, Julian of Bellingham, Washington and James, who is in the U S Navy. Funeral services will be held at 2 P M Saturday in the Roseburg Undertaking company chapel.
