Born in Cheboygan, Mich., on Aug. 25, 1923, she came to Winter Haven 39 years ago. She was a self-employed bookeeper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Ackley. She is survived by her son, George Robert England, Polk City; daughters, Lillian Brown, Polk City, Rose Mae England, Sebring, and Mary Ann Roberge, Winter Haven; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
