She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Gauthier; son, Bobby Gauthier; grandson, Ronald Gauthier,Jr. Survivors include her brother, Billy Ackley; sons, Ronald Gauthier and wife Joan; Jimmy Gauthier; a daughter-in-law, Janis Gauthier; grandchildren, Miriam Guthrie and husband Ken; Carrie,Chad, and Christine Gauthier; great-grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, and Courtney Guthrie. She loved the Lord and it was evident in how she brightened the lives of everyone she met. "To live on Earth is a one time thing- Thanks to God for all the love He brings. Services were conducted at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home,
Hwy. 80, E. Bossier City, Haughton, for Mr. Hilton Joseph
Gauthier, 69, of Bossier City, Monday, Sept. 29, 1986, at 10 a.m.
Officiating was the Rev. Tim Piland, pastor of Waller Baptist
Church. Interment was at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Mr. Gauthier entered into rest Friday, Sept. 26, 1986, at
Schumpert Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. He was a
native of Avoyelles Parish, and lived in Bossier/Shreveport area
for 51 years. Retired T/Sgt. Gauthier served in the Army, and Air
Force, over a span of 26 years. He entered the Army in 1942, and
served in World War II, in occupied Japan. He was awarded the
United Nations Service Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, Korean
Service Medal, and numerous other decorations, medals,
commendations, citations, and campaign ribbons.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Ackley Gauthier of Bossier
City; three sons, Ronald H. Gauthier of Shreveport, Bobby R.
Gauthier of Bossier City, and Jimmy Ross Gauthier of Shreveport;
three daughters-in-law, Joan, Jan, and Marie Gauthier; four
grandchildren, Miriam Guthrie, Ronald Gauthier Jr., Carrie
Gauthier, and Chad Gauthier; one great grandson, Michael Guthrie;
his mother, Mrs. Blanche Gauthier of Shreveport; one brother,
Raymond Gauthier, and his wife, Alice of Many; and good friends,
Amos and Florene Hilton.
