Creek, deceased.

served the within citation as stated in the above return.

To the Surrogate of the County of Washington. The petition
of Clark Rice of the town of Jackson in said county showeth
that Abel Ackly departed this life on or about the 12th day
of March 1835 being an inhabitant at the time of his death,
of the town of White Creek in the said county, that he left a
widow named Mary, residing in the said town of White Creek,
and children, him surviving to wit:

Arthur Ackley, Solomon Ackley and Lot Ackley; that he died
intestate, no last will and testament having been found or
discovered, that the personal estate of the said deceased
does not exceed fifty dollars and that the said deceased was
indebted to your petitioner at the time of his death in the
sum of about thirty dollars, and that the same remains
unpaid. Your petitioner therefore prays that letters of
administration be granted to him, of the goods, chattels, and
credits of the said deceased as a creditor of the said
estate.
