ONAGA --- Mary Ruth Ackley, 92, Havensville, died Wednesday, April
5, 2000, at an Onaga hospital.
Mrs. Ackley and her husband farmed south of Havensville for many years.






She was born Sept. 9, 1907, the daughter of Porter Arganbright and Estella May Townsend. She attended school at Laclede. She lived in Ventura, Calif., from 1937 to 1941.
She married George W. Ackley on Sept. 16, 1925, in Westmoreland.
He died Dec. 22, 1990.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego. Burial will be in Wamego City Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
