SILVER LAKE -- Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville for Ellen G. Scully, 93, Silver Lake, who died Saturday, March 16, 2002, at a St. Marys nursing home.
She was born Sept. 21, 1908, in Belvue, to George W. and Ella May Ewing Ackley. She lived in Silver Lake for 63 years.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville, Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle No. 503 in Topeka, the Silver Lake community Club and several bridge clubs. She was a charter member of Silver Lake Senior Citizens and a member of the group's XYZ Club

She married Jerome Scully on July 7, 1930, in Wamego. He died May 7, 1981.

Nephews and nieces survive.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Topeka. Mrs. Scully will lie in state after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka, where a parish rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday will be followed by visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville or Silver Lake Senior Citizens and sent in care of the funeral home.

She appeared in the census 1910, 1920 & 1930 in Kansas.
