Daniel ACKLEY Jr⁴ was born about 1811 in Pittston, Luzerne , Pennsylvania.^{4,20,21,22,53,54} Between 1850 and 1880 he was Farmer at Greene , Pennsylvania.^20,21,22 He died on 3 Jul 1887 in West Finley, Washington , Pennsylvania.⁴ Died at the home of Jesse Livingood He was buried in Chapel Cemetery, Washington , Pennsylvania.⁴ He appeared in the census 1840, 1860, 1870 & 1880 in Pennsylvania. 1860 census indicates birth as ca 1806 in Prussia, living in Philadelphia and occupation as Blacksmith He was living 1840,1850, 1860, 1870 & 1880 in Rich Hill, Greene , Pennsylvania.^{20,21,22,53,54} He was living 1850 & 1880 in Rich Hill, Greene , Pennsylvania.^20,21 living with mother 1850 He. this may be a composit of two different Daniel's and their family In May 1888 Jesse Livingood entered a claim against the willed assets of Daniel, claiming recompense for boarding Daniel prior to his death at the rate of $2.10 per week. Daniel had paid this until 1 April 1887, three months before his death. Daniel remained boarded with Livingood but made no payments. In late March 1887 Daniel became sick and needed constant attention until his death.
