Tulsa Okla. May-20 Mrs Pearl Sullivan 35 a widow, was arrested on a charge of murder yesterday in connection with the death Thursday night of her six year old daughter, Thelma, and county authorities are seeking Ben Ackley, a barber of Keystone, against whom also a murder charge has been filed.
The child was killed on a road near Tulsa while Mrs Sullivan and Ackley were riding. The mother declared it fell from the automobile and was run over. Two physicians declared after a postmortem examination that there were no exterior bruises such as a wheel would have made passing over the body, but that death resulted from shattering of the liver as if a sharp blow had been struck in the abdomen just opposite the liver. On 21 Apr 1930 he was a barber in a barber shop at Keystone Lake, Pawnee , Oklahoma.²²⁸ He was living in 1930 in Keystone Lake, Pawnee , Oklahoma.²²⁸ He died of throat cancer on 3 Mar 1959 in Muskogee, Muskogee, Oklahoma.^4,38 He was ill with Throat Cancer about 1959 in Veterans Hospital.⁴ He was buried in Sinnett Memorial Cemetery, Tulsa , Oklahoma.^4,38 He appeared in the census 1900, 1910, 1920 & 1930 in Oklahoma.
