MADERA Mrs Rebecca A Cairns, 81, died Wednesday in a Detroit hospital following an illness of two years. She was the sister of William Ackley of Madera.
Mrs Cairns was born March 16, 1881, in England, a daughter of William Henry and Elizabeth (Cassidy) Ackley.
In addition to her brother she is survived by a sister, Mrs John Hall of Flint Mich,, and four children: Joseph, New York; James Pittsburgh; Mrs Annie Fink, New York, and Mrs Elizabeth Tampa of Detroit, with whom she made her home.
Burial, with graveside prayer, will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Madera Monday morning.
Friends will be received in the Shoff Funeral Home at Madera Sunday from 2 to 10 P M She was buried on 2 Jul 1962 in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Madera, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.¹¹
