Perfect

A wish I made upon a star,

I wished it would come true.

That he would someday find me,

What else could I do?

Alas, I’ve found him in my dreams,

And looked into his eyes,

But when I wake, a tear appears.

Why can’t he materialize?

Once I thought I’d found him,

In a place where we were free,

But when I set my heart on love,

He went away from me.

I made a wish upon a star

One clear & moonless night,

That I would find the one to love,

To love with all my might.

It would be perfect. . . . . .
