Some text did not photocopy well due to the size of the books (HUGE!!!) and the size of the copier (normal) and the fact that the book was VERY thick and some of the pages could not be pressed down to touch the copier glass. I tried to copy most of the page's "black spots" by hand where I thought to do so.
I copied as many Thompson Surveys as I could find, however, I could have missed a few.
Questionable text is included in [ ] brackets. If a "possible text" was found, it was included as [?xxx].
I tried to hold to the original spelling as much as possible, but also know that I probably included my usual assortment of typos!
