DIED

...On Saturday, after a lingering illness, Nicholas Horr, a stone mason, well known and much respected. His funeral took place from the German Reformed Church on Monday afternoon.

DIED IN WATSON

Henry Mattinger, formerly of this city, lately of Watson, died Tuesday, at his home, of bronchitis, aged 71 years. The deceased was the father of Mrs. Basil Myers and Mrs. George Owens, of Watson, and Mrs. Barbara Foliet, of Indianapolis. The funeral took place Wednesday, Rev. Daniel Ryan, of Utica, officiating. The services were hold at New Chapel, where the interment also took place. The deceased came from Bavaria, Germany, many years ago.

OCTOGENARIAN DIED AT PRATHER

Death Of Mrs. Emma Mattinger At Home Of Her Daughter, Mrs. Basil Myers

Infirmities of old age caused the death Sunday evening of Mrs. Emma Mattinger, aged 83, widow of William Mattinger who has been dead many years. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Basil Myers, at Prather.

Mrs. Mattinger was born in Germany October 22, 1836, and had resided in this county many years. Besides Mrs. Myers two other daughters survive, Mrs. Bernice Owens of Ohio Falls and Ms. Barbara Follett of Indianapolis. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the residence conducted by the Rev. D. A. Winter, pastor of St. Luke's Reformed church, and interment will be at New Chapel cemetery.
