Fallen Hero
No camouflage of metal,
their jungle is the street,
fighting in the backyards,
till their hearts no longer beat.
Don’t build them monuments,
or carve their names in stone,
honor them by joining in,
so they no longer stand alone.
Here’s to the fallen hero,
the one who stood alone,
Here’s to the fallen hero,
who fought the war at home.
Here’s to the fallen hero,
their name’s are seldom known.
